The alpine world junior championships are once again coming to the Quebec City region from February 18-28, 2013.
WHO: The 31st annual FIS Junior World Ski Championships will showcase the best in junior alpine ski racing, with more than 250 athletes from 50 countries in attendance. The athletes, some of whom are hopefuls for the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia, will compete in slalom, giant slalom, super giant, downhill, and a team event.
WHERE: Two resorts in the greater Québec City area, Le Massif de Charlevoix ski resort (speed events) and at the Mont-Sainte-Anne ski resort (technical events), will host the event.
Friday, February 22 – Men’s downhill training (Massif). Women’s giant slalom (Mont Sainte-Anne)
Saturday, February 23 – Men’s super-G (Massif) and team event (Mont Sainte-Anne). Women’s team event (Mont Sainte-Anne)
Sunday, February 24 – Women’s downhill training (Massif)
Monday, February 25 – Men’s giant slalom (Mont Sainte-Anne), Women’s downhill training (Massif)
Tuesday, February 26 – Men’s slalom (Mont Sainte-Anne). Women’s downhill (Massif)
Wednesday, February 27 – Women’s super-G (Massif)
