Goals for the 2012-13 season: To enjoy each race and get my feet back under me after the year off-snow for the recovery. Also working towards qualifying for world championships and hitting the podium.

Best moment in ski racing: Finding out that I’d qualified for the 2010 Olympics.

What one thing would you change about ski racing? Athletes having more support through their development - even through rough times. Also, no water-injected tracks.

Best World Cup stop: St. Johann, Austria. It’s our only night race. The crowd is big, loud and it’s a lot of fun!

Person you look up to most in ski racing: I looked up to the older girls from my club when I was a kid (Julia and Jenny Delich and Emily Brydon). Now I take parts of different athletes that I want to be like and try to copy them.

Favourite movie: Forrest Gump, The Sound of Music.

    Hockey team: Winnipeg Jets!

If you could have dinner with anyone, living or dead, who would it be? Andre Agassi.

Something no-one knows about you: I am very proud of my little sister, Nicole. Also, when I was 15 I won the U-18 National Club Championship in soccer.

Favourite activities other than skiing: Golfing, road biking and road trips.

Superstitions: They change with what happened or didn't happen.

If a movie was made about your life, who should play the lead role? Hilary Swank.

What’s a talent you wish you had? To be able to sing.

If you weren’t a skier what would you be? A golfer.

Funniest thing you’ve seen in ski racing: Watching little kids race ski cross and not care if they put each other in the fence.

Most embarrassing moment: Wiping out in the middle of the daylodge in your ski boots with everyone watching.

Describe yourself in three words: Dedicated, hard-working, energetic.
