    Q&A

Best moment in ski racing: When I was tiny, winning my first race because it was the first time I got to have that feeling.

Worst moment in ski racing: I work on forgetting the bad times.

What one thing would you change about ski racing? I would take away all the waiting we have to do at races.

Best mountain: Whistler, because it’s my home. Growing up on it has made it feel like it’s my own.

Person you look up to most in ski racing: The members of our Canadian ski team.

    On your iPod: Music, obviously.

Favourite movie: The Star Wars Trilogy - the original, of course. Or Miller’s Crossing. Star Wars, because I grew up with the movies and loved them as I grew up. I still really like them. Miller’s Crossing is also high on my list because it’s a gangster movie and the acting and dialogue is great.

    Hockey team: Vancouver, by default.

If you could have dinner with anyone, living or dead, who would it be? Clint Eastwood, but when he was younger. I really like his movies and style. I imagine it would be a great dinner.

Something no-one knows about you: I hate how the inside of peppers look - all the seeds.

Favourite activities other than skiing: Tennis.

If a movie was made about your life, who should play the lead role? I’m not sure, but I know it would be narrated by Morgan Freeman.

What’s a talent you wish you had? To be able to back flip from standing.

If you weren’t a skier what would you be? Possibly a surf bum.

Funniest thing you’ve seen in ski racing: During his first time skiing slalom I watched my friend take the first gate between the legs. I’m certain there have been much funnier things, but that’s what’s coming to mind right now.

Most embarrassing moment: Can’t say on a public Q&A.

Describe yourself in three words: Fun, committed, ready to go.
