Robin Fémy A former alpine ski racer, Fémy became Chris Williamson’s guide for the 2010-11 season. The duo has earned more than a dozen IPC World Cup podiums and eight world championship medals together, including four at the most recent world championships in La Molina, Spain. Fémy, who was born in France and now lives in Mont-Tremblant, Que., has close ties to para-alpine racing: his father is the head coach of the French para-alpine ski team. Fémy is currently practicing for his pilot’s licence.

    What one thing would you change about ski racing? I’d like there to be less injuries.

    Best World Cup stop: I have only raced in Arta Terme, Italy. It was a lot of fun.

    Person you look up to most in ski racing: Japanese alpine skier Akira Sasaki.

    On your iPod: A lot of songs! It goes from hip hop to blues, but a lot of electronic music as well.
